Laura Wilhem Manley
Laura Wilhem Manley serves a pivotal role at Kentuckiana Allergy as a nurse practitioner.
Laura has two certifications – certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN)/family nurse practitioner (FNP) under the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and registered nurse (RN) licensed in Kentucky and Indiana. As a registered nurse, Laura spent several years at Kosair Children’s Hospital caring for pediatric patients with respiratory, endocrine, neurological, and gastrointestinal disorders. At Kentuckiana Allergy, she treats children and adults with allergies and asthma.
Ms. Manley graduated magna cum laude from Bellarmine University in 2009 with a Bachelor in Science of Nursing (BSN). She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing International, Chapter Lambda Psi. In 2009, Laura was admitted into the nurse practitioner’s program at Bellarmine University, where she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), with honors, in 2011.
Laura was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. Thanks to an intense study and certification program in high school, she speaks conversational Spanish. Her hobbies include outdoor adventures with her puppy, Rudy, and spending time with her husband, family and friends. Laura and her husband, Clay, have two children, Ford and Macallan.
